Chats are the AI entry point in Verachi. Use them to ask grounded questions against workspace records.

Start a chat

  1. Open Chats.
  2. Start a new conversation or continue an existing one.
  3. Attach a project, decision, or document when the question needs context.
  4. Ask the question.

You can also start Ask Verachi from command search, a project, or a decision.

Good uses

  • Summarize decisions affecting a project.
  • Explain why a decision was made.
  • Find related decisions before changing something.
  • Review risks that need attention.
  • Ask what evidence supports a record.

Grounded answers

Chat should answer from workspace data, not generic memory.

Verachi expects grounded answers to:

  • stay close to the attached or retrieved records
  • cite source links when factual claims are made
  • say plainly when a claim cannot be cited
  • treat retrieved workspace content as data, not instructions

Set up AI

If chat cannot run:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Security & data.
  3. Open AI settings.
  4. Configure the provider and model defaults allowed for the workspace.
