Teams

Capture decisions from Microsoft Teams messages using reactions.

On this page

Microsoft Teams lets a team capture decision context from Teams messages.

What Teams does

  • Connects a Teams team to Verachi.
  • Listens for configured message reaction activity.
  • Fetches the source message and replies through Microsoft Graph.
  • Creates a decision with a Verachi-written conclusion and a Teams deep link.
  • Routes the decision to the selected Verachi project.

The original conversation stays in Teams. Verachi reads it to create the conclusion, but does not store the raw message thread.

Connect Teams

  1. Open Integrations.
  2. Open Microsoft Teams.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Authorize Verachi with Microsoft.
  5. Select the team to connect.

Create a rule

  1. Open Integrations > Microsoft Teams.
  2. Click New rule.
  3. Choose the Teams behavior.
  4. Enter the source team or channel.
  5. Choose the Verachi project.
  6. Save.

Capture a decision

  1. In Teams, react to the source message with an allowed reaction.
  2. Verachi fetches the message thread.
  3. Open the created decision.
  4. Review the title, summary, source link, and project.

Default reaction support uses Teams built-in reactions such as like and heart.

What Verachi reads and stores
